welcome to my void in space!

hi there! looks like you stumbled upon my little sanctuary! no worries, you're safe here :) this isn't a particularly interesting place — this is simply a space inhabited by a queer adult looking for some peace and quiet on the web. feel free to stick around if you wanna get to know me a bit! i have plenty of resources around here that you can check out, as well! go ahead and listen to some tunes while you browse if you'd like, i put together a bunch of my favorites :3 be warned that i love to ramble, so you'll see plenty of pages that seem... longer than they should. i try to use tooltipsthese! when you hover over them, you get additional text! when necessary to help make everything look neater!

i try to make my website fun but also accessible! i'm still new to coding and i only manage this site as a hobby, so if there is anything i can do to improve accessibility, or if there are any bugs or other issues, the best way to contact me would be to shoot me an email *click to download my public key! about it!

website notes!

• this was coded in the neocities code editor in a firefox-based browser on 120% zoom using a 1920x1080 display size!
• coded with both computer and mobile in mind! looks much better on computer, but is still mobile functional! you just need to close the webamp widget whenever you boot up the site
• this website is mostly html and css; it relies on iframes and most pages are built around being viewed as an iframe
• most pages do not need js to function, the only pages that do are the following: ethan's page, sonic's page. however, i do use js for fun extras that are not needed to enjoy all my website has to offer. these extras are the following: music player, pluralkit front status widget, status.cafe widget, webrings that use js to function, mouse hover/click sound effects on important links

updates!

• 05/01, 7:56 AM — first update in a minute, hey! nothing big, just added zorua art to the warning page (the page before the graphics page), replaced the sonic and tails sprite with a zorua artpiece in my webgarden window, and a few other visual tweaks!
• 03/28, 11:05 PM — arctic, both her art and a temporary webpage, has been added to the system page! ethan's webpage was updated with both new art and a somewhat minor overhaul!
• 03/10, 10:33 PM — on the navbar, the system section has been downgraded to just a link to the system page alone, and all the alter pages have been removed from the navbar! (this is because i want more room on the bar to add other widgets, page links, etc + i don't see much of a point in it anymore lol!)
• 02/29, 9:52 PM — continuing from previous update! i now have completed: graphics, links, web projects! added a contact form in contact! other minor visual tweaks!
• 02/28, 8:58 PM — slowly replacing pokemon conquest sprite art to my own artwork of shiny hisuian zorua... right now i completed: home, about, art, contact
• 02/26, 5:55 PM — added quizzes category on index, and added a strikethrough onto it to indicate its incompletion! re-added rss feeds, just gonna simplify how i do them, haha!
• 02/23, 10:42 PM — added pokemon mystery dungeon portrait icons to all blog entries! added a small kin section within my about me! changed the blog to be an iframe within here instead of its own website! changed how the web projects page works; no longer redirects to a seperate site, but shows its now modified index page within an iframe!
• 02/21, 1:09 AM — made keith's page! updated how most webrings on the home page look, just because of personal preference!
• 02/13, 10:05 PM — removed rss feeds from my site, i don't like updating them lol!
• 02/03, 9:33 PM — revamped system page! the art featured in there was made by myself :)
• 02/01, 2:43 PM — edited icons in contact page! ( sorry sonic, your icons were very cute but i felt they did not fit with the theme...)
• 01/29, 8:45 PM — added "web projects" category on index, which leads to "soleanna.crisis.city"! these are just for me to stash away and showcase the fututre webrings, cliques, and fanlistings i plan to make!
• 01/25, 3:18 PM — added "writings" category on index, and added a strikethrough through that and "collections" to indicate their incompletion!
• 01/23, 7:10 PM — renamed "cool sites" to "links"!
• 01/22, 5:14 PM — "blog" now leads to 'solaris.crisis.city' instead of 'corvidae.bearblog.dev'! added two new shrines and organized the shrines page a bit to accomadate these additions! added new rss feed specifically for updates, i'll begin adding content to it the next time i update the site!
• 01/18, 2:11 PM — added hover effect to images, the effect being the image getting brighter by 10% when hovered over, that have links attached to them, primarily in the graphics, shrines, and system pages! finally fixed webgarden.html, lmao! added silly ass logos to my social media in my socials page! ( i made 'em intentionally shitty lookin', lawl!) renamed "socials" to "contact"! other minor visual tweaks!

• 01/06, 1:22 AM — added a flashing lights warning page before one can gain access to the graphics page! lowered the volume of the hover/click sounds, it was kinda loud lol! went back to hosting on neocities due to bandwidth space issues!

to-do list!

• notes about collections page, when you get to it: only make pages for lugia and caterpie items for now (maybe do everything you own in the future, but that's VERY ambitious); make sure you have pictures of everything in your collections; make sure you write coherent descriptions on what each item is and their origins (put everything in order of oldest to newest release date-wise); make an original css for both and use the tabs code for different parts of each collections section; consider adding site buttons or links to different pokemon collection sites (both for my own convenience and others, haha! i like looking at collections); make a section for collectors resources, like websites, shops, proxy services, tips and tricks (such as how to tell real from fake merch, how to use proxy services, how to look for the right online seller, etc. write them yourself), etc
• notes about writers page, when you get to it: still post fanfic to ao3, but also cross-post it onto this page; put all original works here, like poems or drabbles or whatever else; either 1) make it like the art gallery and such pages where its an iframe within index with a simple presentation or 2) make it like blog where its a whole seperate website (if you do this, make its layout near-identical to blog, for convenience lol)
• shrine ideas: space, merch collecting, nintendo
• graphics page section ideas: favicons, stickers/transparent pngs, discord emotes(?)
• quiz ideas: which pseudo-legendary pokemon are you?
• webring ideas: sonic ring themed after sonic 06 + soleanna
• clique ideas: wolf pack clique
• fanlisting ideas: sonic adventure (video game), sonic frontiers (video game), pokemon hg/ss (video game)
• other website ideas: bug type trainer website (include educational pages on certain bugs, guides on raising bugs, etc!)
• make pixel art for the shrines! make a pikachu for pokemon, sonic for sonic lol, tails for his shrine, etc
