welcome to my void in space!

hi there! looks like you stumbled upon my little sanctuary! no worries, you're safe here :)
this isn't a particularly interesting place — this is simply a space inhabited by a queer adult looking for some peace and quiet on the web. feel free to stick around if you wanna get to know me a bit! maybe listen to some tunes, too? i put together some of my favorites :) be warned that i love to ramble, so you'll see plenty of pages that seem... longer than they should. i try to use tooltipsthese! when you hover over them, you get additional text! when necessary to help make everything look neater!

i try to make my website fun but also accessible! i'm still new to coding and i only manage this site as a hobby, so if there is anything i can do to improve accessibility, or if there are any bugs or other issues, the best way to contact me would be to shoot me an email about it!

website notes!

• this was coded in firefox-based browsers (it is occassionally tested in chrome-based browsers) using a 1920x1080 display size!
• this was originally coded in the neocities editor back when i was on neocities, but now i code in the cpanel file editor
• coded with both computer and mobile in mind! looks better on computer, but is still mobile friendly!
• this website is mostly html and css. it relies on iframes. it does not need js to function, i only use it for fun extras! the only pieces of js i used are the following: music player, front status, certain webrings, mouse hover/click sound effects on certain links

• 12/04/2023, 7:22 PM — removed navlinks from sidebar; moved statuscafe to sidebar!
• 12/03/2023, 4:16 PM — tweaked the spacing on a few pages! ...yeah, not a lot has been happening lately, haha

• 11/24/2023, 1:00 AM — fixed certain link/redirect issues! made it so alter pages are now iframes! took the "programs i use" tab from the resources page and converted it to a "what i use" tab on the about me page! added access to buttons page once more via a probably-not-so-hard-to-find secret page! other minor tweaks!
• 11/13/2023, 6:00 PM — updated webamp with more music!
• 10/06/2023, 09:07 PM — webhost changed from neocities to leprd.space! currently updating links, redirects, etc.
• 09/25/2023, 11:26 PM — converted blog posts to become bearblog.dev post links rather than writing the blogs directly on neocities! merged the interests and boundaries pages into the about me page!
• 09/19/2023, 1:42 AM — added more details to the about me page! added basis for the shrines page!
• 09/12/2023, 5:27 PM — added a front status widget! added sound effects when you hover over and click on links in the navbar! turned pages that share layouts into iframes! overhauled my layout's code, it doesn't look too different on computer but it should affect how it looks on mobile!

• 09/07/2023, 3:50 PM — yo, sonic 'ere! fiiinally added my page, since i got motivated 'nough t'code LAWL! updated the look of blogs! (removed sidebar and footer and made it slimmer to hopefully make it easier to read) font sizes are now in em instead of px! added webamp! incorprated status.cafe into updates section!
• 09/05/2023, 10:46 PM — uploaded every image i use into neocities directly, then re-linked all the images to the neocities links! it was... a lot of work, especially for the graphics page contents haha... updated boundaries page to include more!
• 09/05/2023, 12:36 AM — added resources page! changed rainbow hover text code from using javascript to using css! changed button (now buttons, plural) section on index's sidebar to include other website's buttons instead of only my own!

• 08/30/2023, 02:47 AM — i spent way too long on this, i'm gonna be so tired tomorrow... but! added something new to the webrings & graphics page - fanlistings buttons! moved webrings to main page, and working on renaming webrings & graphics to just graphics! will get some sleep then do all that tomorrow!
• 08/29/2023, 06:40 PM — temporarily removed other system member pages that haven't been worked on yet! filled out ethan's page! finally made a proper css instead of copy+pasting all my code to each page lol!
• 08/28/2023, 10:06 PM — figured out how to set image rendering to pixelate! added guestbook button! added more content to the webrings & graphics page! replaced construction pikachu gif with a marquee that goes into a little more detail! added first blog entry!

• 08/26/2023, 06:12 PM — added a sitemap button! haven't worked on it yet, i'll work on it and the other unfinished pages some other time
• 08/23/2023, 11:37 PM — added the bases for new sections! expanded already existing pages + added more css stuff! added interests and boundaries pages within the about me page! added blog page! gonna work on adding more to the main pages before letting the others add to their member pages!

to-do list!

• add content to collections page! get the content prepared — collection images, graphics, descriptions, unique css, etc! when you get to actually working on your collection page, add site buttons to other fellow pokemon collector websites!
• maybe make a collection resources page as well? or make it a category in the actual resources page? add tips and tricks for collection related things! ideas: how to tell real from fake merch, how to use proxy services, how to look for the right online seller
• add content to shrines page! ideas and such are listed within the base page
• add quizes page and make some quizzes!
• make some shrines for your favorite things! ideas: pokemon, sonic, nintendo consoles, foss projects
• webamp goal: get to 100 songs added!
